Nanaimo Fine Arts Show

The Nanaimo Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists is pleased to present their 3rd annual Nanaimo Fine Art Show at the Vancouver Island Conference Center, for Federation members only.
The “Nanaimo Fine Art Show” will celebrate the vitality and high quality of visual art in our community. This juried show sets out to become a premier annual event and it will offer excellent exposure from all forms of accepted FCA media.
The exhibition will be on display between November 1st to 4th 2018, in the fabulous Dodd Narrows Full Room in the Vancouver Island Conference Centre. An opening gala and award ceremony where the cash prize awards will be presented will be held on Thursday night November 1st at 7pm. This event is by invitation only.
A First-place prize of $1000 will be awarded; a Second-place prize of $750 and a Third-place prize of $500 from the jurors’ selections. The jurors will also select non-cash awards for Honorable Mentions. A People’s Choice Award will be awarded on show closing.

There will also be a separate Signature Member showcase for the jurors and qualified local Chapter Members.
A “Meet the artist Night” will be held on Saturday November 3rd from 7-9pm with a silent auction.
Paintings gaining acceptance by jurors are to be dropped off November 1st between 8 AM – 12 noon at the venue. The exhibition will accept entries from all Federation chapters on Vancouver Island and surrounding islands.
